About
WCRC Culture Crest measures what it is like to work somewhere — and publishes how.
Culture Crest is the workplace research and assessment practice of WCRC — World Centre for Research and Consulting, headquartered in New Delhi, India. It publishes rankings of workplaces in India from secondary research, and assesses organisations from the inside with primary research. Both use one framework: the five-pillar WCRC Equity Index.
What Culture Crest publishes
One framework
- Psychological Safety — 22%
- Representation & Inclusion — 20%
- Equitable Opportunity — 22%
- Transparency & Accountability — 18%
- Trust & Belonging — 18%
Outside in
Rankings use industry and market reports, published workforce studies, company disclosures such as annual reports and BRSR, and public records, evaluated by WCRC analysts.
Inside out
Assessments use an anonymous employee survey, a policy and practice audit and HR outcome data, with reliability, validity, precision and anonymity thresholds published in advance.
The rules Culture Crest works by
Research decides
Every published rank follows from the evidence behind it.
Evidence or nothing
An organisation without enough credible evidence is left out, not estimated.
Methods are published
Weights, evidence streams, formulas, worked examples and limitations are on this site in full.
Built for India
Instruments and rubrics take Indian workplace context into account, and data handling follows the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Corrections are open
Any ranked organisation can send documented factual corrections to culturecrest@wcrcint.com. Ranks are not negotiated.
No comparisons, no borrowed lists
Culture Crest publishes its own research only. It does not reuse or benchmark against other organisations’ rankings.
Leadership
Culture Crest research is published under the authority of A. Ghosh, Chairman, WCRC. Methodology, scoring and publication decisions are taken by WCRC Culture Crest's research team.
